Dia de los Muertos

A love that was born of mortal death,

and bewitchment of hallowed breath.

Effervescent memories twirl below

the crimson candelabras mystic glow.

In Autumn, for a night they cross the veil,

following a golden candlelit trail.

Reuniting family and friends to each lost,

celebrating the past, until all can cross.

To remember the dead, is to honor the soul…

and the infinite beauty, that connects us all.
